What do you do?
The President’s role is to ensure that students are represented at every level within the university. The President also acts as the lead representative for the SU to external organisations, particularly the National Union of Students (NUS).

Your Aim for This Year
To fulfil the pledges in his manifesto – to move and improve the shop, to campaign for a 24-hour library, to have a student-assessed accommodation guide, and to continue the negotiations on the SU taking over the Engine Shed and Tower Bar – as well as to continue the great work from last year’s SU team.

Becoming a tram driver at a museum I worked at (I still haven’t got a driving licence, but at least I can drive an 18 ton tram!)
