► 28/10/2011 Notice of SU Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the University of Lincoln Students’ Union will be held on the 14th November 2011 in The Engine Shed, University of Lincoln at 5.00 pm. 

All members are invited to attend. The meeting will conduct the following business.

• To confirm and ratify the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting of the Charity
• To receive the report of the Trustees on the Union’s activities since the previous Annual General Meeting
• To receive the audited accounts for the year ended 30 June 2011
• To receive the budget for 2011/12
• To appoint the Auditors for the year 2011/12
• To receive Executive, Council, Groups and Committees’ Annual Reports
• To ratify the appointment of the Trustees of the Charity
• To consider any motions
• To consider any affiliations
• To answer any open questions to the Trustees by the Members

Papers for the meeting will be circulated on the 7th November 2011 and will also be available to download from the SU website from this date www.lincolnsu.com/agm

Please notify Ary Sharif (President) of any motions to be raised at the meeting, in writing, signed and seconded, by 9.00am on Friday 4th November 2011 - see www.lincolnsu.com/agm for further information.

Any member unable to attend is entitled to appoint a proxy to exercise all or any of their rights to attend, speak and vote at the Meeting. 

A form of proxy will be available from 7th November 2011 and can be downloaded from the Students’ Union website: www.lincolnsu.com/agm or requested from the Students’ Union Reception in the SOAP Centre
