The University of Lincoln Debating is a society which does exactly what it says on the tin - debate. Debates are varied and include diverse spectrum of political and philosophical topics. Past debates have centered around religion, animal rights, free will, socialism, fascism, global warming, capital punishment, tuition fees and whether or not the colour blue is a better than the colour red! The society also engages in socialising as much as it debates. So if you're interested in debating, learning how to debate or watching debates then this is the society for you. To find out more about the Debating Society, then please join our Facebook group where we will be sending out events throughout the year to our group members.
