The University of Lincoln Golf team has been one of the institutions most successful sides in recent years with the first team competing in the very top division of University golf. The 2010 season saw some huge achievements. The golf men's 1st stayed within the premiership league and also qualified through to the quarter final of the BUCS cup playing away at St Andrews. The 1st team also aquired some top players, Whom competed in the Individual BUCS championships qualifying and finishing 17th and 27th in the country. The 1st team have managed to stay in the premiership league again this year, which has means the team can compete and train at Woodhall Spar, the UK's national golf centre. Golf is the only official mixed sport in the University programme with men and women competing side by side. As such the club is open to both male and female players who are keen to develop their game and enjoy the nineteenth hole as much as the previous eighteen.
