The History Society aims to promote awareness of places of historical interest, both locally and further afield. The society will be inviting guest speakers to discuss historical issues that relate to the unit coursework and that will help with the history course units, as well as other topics of historical interest. The society it is not based solely on academia, with socials on a regular basis.
The society are also organising lectures from guest speakers for events such as Black History month.
