Role
We are looking for two qualified coaches to come and join the team to support the delivery of the Get Onside Project across Lincoln. The ideal candidate will have the an NGB Level 2 qualified coaches.

Successful candidates will be required to:
1. To deliver within the Get Onside Sports Programme funded by Children In Need. You will be required to plan, deliver and evaluate sessions
2. Be responsible for ensuring all areas of the session are completed including administration. Work with the lead officer and office manager to complete required paperwork.
3. Collect and record participant fees at each session and return all monies to the Trust Finance Manager.
4. To establish positive relationship with links with people of all ages by adhering to the high standard of customer service expected of Trust staff.
5. Support the management of volunteers and contribute to the integration of each volunteer into the Trust team.
6. To ensure the required health & safety, welfare and supervision of participants throughout the session including child protection policies are carried out. To carry out appropriate checks on equipment, venues and facilities and to administer the necessary procedures for any incident or accident that occurs to any participant under the Trusts supervision.
7. To report to the Community Sport Coach (Inclusion) responsible for the programme area on the progress and development of the sessions.
8. To deputise for other Community Sports Coaches during periods of unavailability in order for the Trust to maintain consistent delivery of programmes.

Person Requirements
• Minimum Level 2 NGB Coaching Qualification
• Minimum and Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate
• Valid Safeguarding Children Certificate
• Hold a full UK driving license and have access to own transport
• Ability to deliver effective and safe activities which takes into account of client needs
• Degree in Sports Related Subject, or studying towards a sport degree
• Minimum of 1 years experience of working in the sports sector or education environment
• Evidence of developing and delivering sport and physical activities
• Completing monitoring reports and using evaluation tools

Role Description
We are looking for dynamic, motivating and inspiring Team Leaders & Assistants to become part of our Activate National Citizen Service programme on our Taunton/South West & Bedfordshire programmes for 2017.
The NCS programme is a government funded social action programme that gives 15 -17 year olds the opportunity to embark on exciting new challenges that develop their work and life skills.
NCS Format
Stage 1: 5 day residential camping at an Outdoor Pursuits Centre followed by 5 days of workshops in halls at a college/school
Stage 2: Social Action Programme: 8 hours each day over a 5-day period
Graduation Night: Celebrating their achievements on the programme
Role
As a Team Leader/Assistant you will:
· Be responsible for up to 15 young people providing supervision, motivation and inspiration; offering the participants the best possible experience of the NCS programme.
· Facilitate and deliver activity sessions and workshops to a group of 16-17 year olds
· Provide leadership and guidance during each day in a dynamic and energetic environment
· Be responsible for the participants completing the required 30 hours of the social action programme following their workshops
· To resolve issues on a daily basis to ensure the smooth running of the programme
Inform all management of incidences as and when necessary

Essential

· Experience leading group activities in a activity leading/sport/education setting

· DBS certificate - this can be provided by the company if needed at a cost of £30

The shows that we attend are mainly situated in the Midlands, South East and West of the country with a few exceptions. Flexibility is also a must throughout most of the year and we require candidates to commit to working one show a month. Cost of food and travel while away is covered by our company and those who can work regularly will be rewarded with our bonus scheme:
