University of Lincoln's Men's Football Club bring home the Cathdral Cup after a 5-1 win against Bishop Grosseteste!

Over 1,000 people headed to Lincoln City Stadium last night to witness the third instalment of the Cathedral Cup, where Bishop Grosseteste and University of Lincoln football teams went head to head.

Among the crowd were Lincoln City players Sean Raggett, Harry Anderson, Josh Vickers and Jordan Maguire-Drew.

Following a 3-1 win by Bishop Grosseteste last year, University of Lincoln's Weaver brought Lincoln into a one-goal lead before BGU equalised 5 minutes later.

Weaver took Lincoln into the lead through the second half, and after a red card to BGU's Hornsey, used his hat trick to take Lincoln to a 5-1 win!

Swanny made sure that he was there to cheer on our Men's Football team, along with BGU's Lenny the Lion!
