Stealing the show were the X Factor style judges – including Ian ‘Cowell’ Johnston, the gorgeous Jo from Spar and Tower Bar quiz master Glen Wilson.
Nine societies entered acts including songs, dances and Little Britain sketches. Although the Sabbs didn’t win, their ‘pillow dance’ stole the show, but the title went rightly to the Dancing Lotus – part of the ACS. They won themselves £100 for their society with £50 going to the runners up.
But the overall winners had to be the societies as their ticket sales raised over £1200, and between them they put on a great night too.
