"The University of Lincoln Orchestra (ULO) was founded in late 2008, becoming the first musical body within the university. Winning the 2009 award for best society, it gives students and staff, the opportunity to develop and improve their musical ability by playing in a mixture of large and small music groups allowing them to meet other music lovers around campus.
The ULO, is an orchestra open to both beginners and advanced players. They hope to become an established orchestra in the Lincoln area and further afield, performing concerts locally, nationwide and into Europe.
