Title of role:
Volunteer Mentor
Tasks:
• Work alongside and support teaching staff during sessions (mainly literacy, numeracy, ICT). This will involve activities both inside the Centre and around the football stadium.
• To support KS2 pupils with their learning & manage and create resources for learning.
• To act as chaperone on the Centre’s mini bus on journeys to and from schools.

OnTarget@LincolnCity Learning Centre, Sincil Bank Stadium, (under the Coop stand) Lincoln, LN5 8LD
Support and supervision:
Volunteers will be given a mentoring handbook and supported and supervised by a member of staff at all times.
Personal qualities and requirements:
• Enthusiasm & Positivity - Be a positive role model to children and work alongside them to show your willingness to learn new skills
• Some awareness of the primary curriculum
• Reliability & Commitment - Attend agreed session(s)once a week
• Initiative - Get stuck in! Help tidy and prepare resources and refreshments to help the session run as smoothly as possible
• Competency in ICT - A sound knowledge and understanding of IMac technology is useful.
