Title of role: Video Editor
Tasks: To edit video wildlife film and to make a short 15 minute film to be shown in local school at Dunston, Lincs. To download DVD material of ‘Blue Tits’ nest building, laying eggs, hatching and feeding to Fledging.
Location: DVD’s to be brought to Lincoln University.
Support and supervision: Cameraman to be present to help student with editing task of material to be used.
Personal qualities and requirements: Volunteer to be authorised to use Universities editing suite and be familiar with its workings.

At any time to suit student. As I am retired my time is my own and can be very flexible.

Title of role: Media Club Co-ordinator
Tasks: To independently organise and run a media club for children aged 5-16yrs (mainly primary level children), focusing on designing and creating a termly newsletter, New Year’s calendar with children’s photos, language DVD (will involve filming/editing) etc.. (Computer suite available for use)
Location: Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School, Wragby Rd, Lincoln, LN2 4PN
Personal qualities and requirements: Punctuality, good communication skills, organised, take own initiative and be able to bring/provide the materials needed.

Title of role: Online Lister
Tasks: To list clothing and accessories on Oxfam’s Online shop, including: researching and valuation; accurate, detailed and interesting descriptions; photography; and packing sold items for posting.
Location: Oxfam Lincoln, 15-17 Cornhill, Lincoln, LN5 7HE
Support and supervision: Supervision and support from the Managers and other Volunteers. Induction program and on-going training/mentoring as required.
Personal qualities and requirements: A good knowledge of brands, and clothing terminology to accurately describe items being listed. Attention to detail, and a flare for writing interesting descriptions. Computer literate. Passion and enthusiasm about doing work to help relieve poverty and suffering.
Skills the volunteer will learn or develop: Research and valuation skills; writing skills; photography; working in a team and individual initiative; merchandising.
Availability: Four hour shifts, either morning (9am-1pm) or afternoon (1pm-5pm), Monday – Saturday. Volunteers can do as few or as many shifts as they feel they have the time and desire for.
