You will be required to give guidance to new students, help them locate key services around the campus, be a point of contact for queries, encourage students to participate in a variety of social activities, and be a role model to all students.

In and around the Brayford Campus and Lincoln city centre

Volunteer Co-ordinator – Jane Kilby and other Students’ Union staff

Availability:

You must be available for the period Saturday 21st September to Sunday 29th September when you will be given rota’d shifts
You will need to attend a compulsory training session which will be on Saturday 21st September from 10am to 12pm

Additional Information:

Su Helpers may be invited to help at other SU activities throughout the academic year
SU Helpers may receive tickets to events during welcome Week by way of our appreciation for volunteering
Hours accrued volunteering as an SU Helper will count towards a Volunteer Certificate and the Lincoln Award
