The society is the University of Lincolns A cappella Society who aim to be a welcoming an inclusive group for all singing abilities. We create our own arrangements in both big and small groups using solely our voices. Whether you want to be in the spotlight singing a solo or working in a team to create a powerful melody there is the opportunity for both.
Throughout the year we perform at a number of SU and non-SU related events from singing carols at a local charity shop to performing at the SU end of year showcase. There are no auditions and no need for any performance experience and for those who love to sing but not perform there is still a place for you in our society.
Aside from expanding our repertoire we host various socials throughout the year, including but not limited to bowling, film nights and karaoke.
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
