About Creative Writing
The University of Lincoln Creative Writing Society (ULCW) is a place for students with an interest in creative writing to meet others who share an interest in the field, to hone their skills, get feedback on their own work, and receive advice on the many places and ways of getting published. We hold weekly workshops and events available to all members, covering as many aspects of creative writing as possible, from prose and poetry, to script writing, and other fiction or non-fiction work. We also plan to have a range of guest speakers come in as well as hosting our own poetry nights in the platform. We also are planning to work towards publishing a book consisting of examples of members work. If ULCW sounds like something you would be interested in, join the group and attend some of our sessions. Membership costs £5 for the full year. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to email [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
