About Rowing
Here at the University of Lincoln Rowing Club our mission is to bring the sport of rowing to Lincoln uni students from all backgrounds and skill levels!
For people starting their rowing journey at University, or just looking to brush up on the basics we offer a fresher squad. As part of the fresher squad you'll receive coached land and water training sessions from our team of volunteer fresher coaches to help you reach your personal fitness and competitive goals.
For more experienced rowers we also offer a senior squad, where alongside your regular training session you gain the freedom to organise additional training for yourself, or any crews you are in. As a result of this you are more able to tailor your experience at the ULRC to fit your needs!
Both our fresher and senior squads receive up to two coached sessions a week with our proffesional coach. On top of that, this year we even have a yoga teacher on the team to aid you in your rowing journey with flexibility, injury prevention and mindfulness.

Committee
All of our clubs and societies are run by a committee.
A committee is a team of people that lead, organise and publicise a group within your Students’ Union.
It can be really rewarding as well as being a great way to gain experience and invaluable skills for your future career.
