Amnesty International is a growing movement of more than 7 million people fighting for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all.
Amnesty at Lincoln University is one of many student groups across the UK campaigning, fundraising and speaking out on behalf of the global human rights movement. We aim to keep things fresh by holding a mixture of meetings, actions, fundraisers and other fun events throughout the year. In our first year, we explored a variety of human rights issues, lobbied our local MP on the subject of the rights of refugee families, put on a massive music show fundraiser and, of course, a few charity bake sales here and there.
Our second year is sure to be even bigger and better, and we want you to be part of it! We love seeing new faces in the group and any contribution, no matter how small, is always welcome.
