There are currently over fifty Marrow groups across universities in the UK. One in four people who have signed the register through Marrow groups will go on to donate their stem cells and save a life.

The previous Lincoln Marrow group at our University started in December 2013 and ran until April 2017. In this time they held 36 events and recruited 867 potential lifesavers to the Anthony Nolan register. Out of which four people recruited by Lincoln Marrow have already gone on to donate! So re-establishing the Marrow group is really exciting! Our main focus as a student-led group is to encourage sign-ups to the donor register, In addition to running fundraising events!

We are currently a small group, but aim to grow and become one of the most successful university Marrow groups!

We intend to have a stall at refreshers, bucket collect, bake sale and host a pub quiz by the end of next term!
