Tuesday 11th December saw Students' Union staff sign official 'Time to Change'  pledge to end mental health discrimination in the workplace.

Time to Change is a campaign run by charities 'Mind' and 'Rethink Mental Illness' aimed at reducing mental health discrimination on all levels. Amongst these levels is a commitment that employers can make which demonstrate to employees a conscious movement towards providing provisions and support for those suffering with mental health issues.

Already committed to other initiatives to provide a working environment that benefits its employees, such as 'Disability Confident Commited' (a government-run initiative to support the talents that disabled people can bring to the workplace), staff at the Students' Union were happy to support the pledge in an all-staff meeting on Tuesday morning.
