The University of Lincoln Dance Society hosted their first ever dance competition on the 8th March 2020. It was a hugely successful day with a total of seven universities competing.

Lincoln were joined by Aston, Birmingham City, Bath Spa, Gloucestershire, Lancaster and Northampton to compete in a variety of different dance styles throughout the day, including ballet, jazz and tap. Throughout the day each university performed their own dances on The Engine Shed stage, all of which were choreographed by their students.

The event was hosted by our current and future VP Activities, Abi Brown, who did an amazing job hosting and introducing all of the dances throughout the day. Overall, the whole day was a huge success with lots of trophies being won and in total Lincoln came home with an amazing six 1st place trophies and two 3rd place trophies.
