Become a Postgraduate Officer

Do you want to be one of the next Postgraduate Officers for the Students' Union?

The current Postgraduate Research Officer (PGR), who represents research students; and the Postgraduate Taught Officer (PGT), who represents taught masters students, are soon finishing their terms in Office. This means we are now looking to elect a new PGR and PGT Officer for the 2020/21 academic year.

The PGR and PGT Officers are responsible for representing Research and Masters students on all areas of their university experience, ensuring they get the best university experience possible. You will sit on University committees to make powerful change to the postgraduate experience, as well as being a huge influence in continuing to build a postgraduate community in Lincoln.

If you are interested in being the next PGR or PGT Officer, you can nominate yourself at between the 13th October, at 9am until the 19th October at 5pm.

If you do not want to be a Postgraduate Officer but want to vote in this election, you will be able to vote for your preferred candidate at between the 20th October, at 5pm and the 23rd October, at 5pm.

If you have any queries about the election, please email [email protected]

Please note, all elections are run in line with bye-law 7 of the Students’ Union bye-laws.
