We Are Here For You

We are working to make sure that you are supported and get the best experience possible, during this difficult time.
Here is an update of what we are currently working on for you, alongside the University.

One-to-one support.
Our independent and impartial SU Advice Centre is able to offer advice and support remotely to individual students. We specialise in academic issues, including extenuating circumstances and academic offences. We can also help with housing issues, as well as finance and wellbeing advice. Please contact us NOW if you have an issue on [email protected]

Your studies and assessments.
Georgia, your VP Education is currently collecting feedback and questions from students regarding their academic experience. This is being fed back regularly to the Senior Leadership Team at the University, to make sure that student views are taken into consideration during decision making. Georgia is working in partnership with the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Student Development and Engagement on this, as well as taking part in on-going discussions around Safety Nets.

Representing You
Student Leaders and members of SU staff are regularly attending meetings with members of the University’s Senior Leadership Team and present the feedback and views of students that we receive at these.

Your Students' Union and University have always worked closely in partnership to make sure students have the best experience, and they highly value the student input that we are able to provide.

Please complete our survey at lincolnsu.com/survey here to have your voice heard in these meetings.

Course Specific Issues
If you believe COVID-19 is causing an issue with your course, your Course Reps are busy working with your schools to make sure that any issues are resolved quickly.
Submit your issue at www.lincolnsu.com/coursemate

Lucy, your VP Wellbeing and Community has produced a template letter that you can send to your landlord asking for them to be flexible at this time. This can be accessed at www.lincolnsu.com/letter2021.

We are also collecting student feedback on the issue of accommodation fees and we are working with the University closely, making sure that your voices are heard on this particular subject.

There are a lot of support services available to students at the University, which can all be accessed remotely.
