Programmes to give you life skills
As well as our work ready skills, we have come up with a whole load of opportunities for you to develop your life skills!
'Starting Your Career' webinars - To accompany our Financial Fairytales financial advice online, we are working with HSBC to provide further financial guidance through webinars and free financial health checks. The first series of webinars will be taking place on 16th October at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm. The webinar will cover basics such as understanding your payslip and budgeting, as well as more complex advice such as helping you secure the financial future you want.
Financial health checks - Free, impartial financial health checks with experienced personal bankers from HSBC will be taking place on 18th October. These half hour, pre-booked appointments can cover a specific topic, just email what you would like to talk about.
To express interest in either of these opportunities and to find out more, please email [email protected] with the subject line: 'University of Lincoln'.
Self-defence workshops - Defence Lab will be coming to the SU to run self-defence workshops, with dates to be confirmed shortly. Learn a new skill, meet new people and learn how to keep yourself safe.
