Lincoln Students’ Union-developed software platform, SUMS, has been awarded ‘Education Product of the Year’ at the Technology + Innovation Awards 2018.
The Students’ Union Management System (SUMS), is a content management system which has been developed and built by key members of staff within the Lincoln Students’ Union’s team. Originally launched in 2013, SUMS has since played its part as the central software platform through which all functions of the Students’ Union runs.

Supported and developed by our staff team, SUMS has changed the way the organisation operates. Built by students’ unions, for students’ unions, SUMS has since gone on to support additional students’ unions and, at the time of writing, is currently hiring for an additional web developer to support the growing platform.
