The Students' Union would like to say a massive congratulations to the University on this amazing achievement and the huge amount of work that has contributed to this result.
This result sees the University jumping up an impressive 5 places from 22nd to 17th on the league table since last year. This can be attributed to a series of amazing achievements including a multi-million pound grant to advance research into a 'Holy Grail' medical imaging system for cancer patients, the establishment of Lincolnshire's first medical school in partnership with the University of Nottingham, and a top ten ranking in the National Student Survey.
Kudzai Muzangaza, President of the Students Union has this to say on the result:
"We are phenomenally proud at the SU to be a part of the University of Lincoln community. This result reflects the hard work of every staff member and student at the University who make it such an amazing and rewarding place to study."
The Guardian University Guide 2020, published today, ranks universities based on: spending per student, student/staff ratio, graduate career prospects, entry requirements, a value-added score, students continuation rates, and student satisfaction; which is ranked by students themselves through the National Student Survey.
