Outside Working Spaces

Outside Working Spaces

More outside working spaces and benches provided around campus to enable students to study outside, especially when the weather is hot. This will give students more option of where to study and differs from environments such as the library and tower bar/swan.

Outside working spaces have been fed back to the university in terms of looking at versatile spaces for students to work. At the moment, students will note that the eastern approach to the university has recently been renovated. These works were already planned prior to the SUggestion, reiterating the university's work towards improving the estate and working spaces for students. The Eastern Approach works include new seating areas as well as Wi-Fi access covering the outside area through eduroam. We will look to work with the Estates Dept and feed back other areas that would be suited for outside working
