On Students' Union election pages, provide a brief description of the role the candidates are running for.

As of right now, all the current election pages do not provide any information or description about the role the listed candidates are standing for. Currently, all the information you are provided with is the candidates' manifestos. Without knowing what the role is, you are not provided with enough information to make an informed decision about who to give your vote to. For example, if I don't know what the role of the 'Community Officer' is going by the title alone, I should not be required to search around the SU website to discover what it is.

I'm sure most students would agree that this is an essential change which must be implemented on the SU website as soon as possible It will ensure that we can make more informed decisions when voting for the people who will represent us and our needs at the university.
