A Preliminary Interview is not part of the recruitment process. It is an opportunity for you to gain interview experience and learn more about what it’s like to work for the Students’ Union.
What happens during a Preliminary Interview?
A Preliminary Interview consists of:
- Feedback on your CV – this is general feedback, and not specific to any particular role or application.
- Basic/standard interview questions – again, these questions are not specific to a particular role, however, are designed to give you standard interview experience.
- You are able to ask questions about the Students’ Union in general, again not role specific. These may concern the working environment, our values and what we do.
