The Technical Team Members act as local crew for events and work under the venue technicians to provide support in the production of events held in the Students' Union Commercial Venues.

Key Responsibilities include:

- to provide technical crewing services under
- assist in the unloading and loading of trucks, setting up of stage sets under the supervision of the in-house technicians and management
- to set up and operate equipment, under the guidance of the technical management team

The Promotions Team Member will assist in advertising and promoting the events that take place in the Students’ Union Commercial Services, gaining interest from potential customers and representing the venues and their values whilst distributing/communicating information and offers to members.

Key Responsibilities include:
- to display approved posters according to set policies and procedures
- to distribute posters to different town venues. This will involve getting confirmation of where and how many posters may be put up
- to interact with student members and the general public, telling them the venues offers by distributing flyers

This is a front of house post which is fundamental to the day to day operation of the Students' Union and includes large amounts of customer service and cash handling. We are looking for people that are passionate, accurate, committed, motivated, adaptable and flexible.

Key Responsibilities include:

- providing a highly effective and efficient reception service for the Students' Union in person, via email and telephone, building a friendly and trustworthy relationship with our members
- responsible for receiving and recording cash and credit card income in accordance with financial regulations and audit requirements
- maintain good product knowledge of all live entertainment and comedy shows taking place in the venues

The Swan Kitchen Team Member role involves cooking and preparing food within safety guidelines. Full training will be given to allow you to work independently in the kitchen, or as part of a two-person team during busy periods. Tasks will include cooking, preparation, cleaning and maintaining accurate records. Applicants should be:

• Organised with the ability to multi-task
• Accurate at following procedures
• Consistent at producing well presented food
• Motivated to clean and maintain a safe environment
• Flexible to work around the needs of the business

Details

The Cleaner Team Member will support the Facilities Co-ordinator in providing an efficient cleaning service across all venues of the organisation.

Cleaner Team Members will be required to work shift patterns to meet the needs of the business, including 3am and 7am start times.

Key Responsibilities include:

- undertake duties such as cleaning, sweeping and vacuum cleaning and emptying of bins as well as washing, dusting and polishing surfaces, including floors, walls and tables etc.
- monitor the cleanliness of all Students' Union buildings, reporting any hazards in a timely manner following correct process
- assist the Facilities Co-ordinator when a Deep Clean of a defined area is required, including full clean down of areas
