The Junior Software Developer Team Member will assist in the development, maintenance and support of the SUMS platform. To ensure comprehensive documentation and quality assurance of the platform which is licenced out to various other Students' Unions across the UK. The role will act as one of the first levels of support for any SUMS related queries, as well as providing introductory training for modules.

Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the implementation of solutions for support issues as required from all stakeholders of the software
- Work with the Junior Software Developers to maintain a support knowledge base, creating articles for frequently asked questions and processes as required
- Ensure new SUMS developments are independently tested and documented, highlighting enhancements and feedback using GitHub

The Web Support Assistant will support the Digital Communications Co-ordinator in the charitable and commercial activities of the Students' Union, including support in the web accessibility project updates and simple HTML website design.

Key responsibilities include:
- support the Students' Union departments to ensure website content is current, relevant, and functional
- support the Digital Communications Co-ordinator to update content on the web mini-sites for campaigns and projects using basic HTML coding
- support the Design Team when required to upload key events, content and images as directed by the Digital Marketing Co-ordinator
- work with the Marketing & Communications Manager in the coordination of all updates for the Students' Union website in line with current accessibility legislation
