Details

The Engine Shed Team Member role is a customer-focused position involving all areas of bar service and entertainment within the Engine Shed, including: serving drinks, food delivery for events, cash handling, box office duties, customer service and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities include:

- provide a high quality, efficient service to customers by making drinks to a consistent standard within the bounds of the licensing laws and adhere to all aspects of licensing law
- providing food delivery and set up for corporate/evening events booked within the Engine Shed and Platform
- actively participate in promotional activity to drive sales and attract custom

Team Member - Tower Bar Kitchen

Details

The Kitchen Team Member will assist the kitchen Tower Bars team in the preparation and cooking of food within safety guidelines. Tasks will include cooking, preparation, cleaning and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities include:

- safely cook meals by following set procedures and monitoring critical temperature and control points within the Tower Bars kitchen
- prepare a variety of food items for cooking in ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment
- consistently present food to the agreed standard

The Swan Kitchen Team Member role involves cooking and preparing food within safety guidelines. Full training will be given to allow you to work independently in the kitchen, or as part of a two-person team during busy periods. Tasks will include cooking, preparation, cleaning and maintaining accurate records. Applicants should be:

• Organised with the ability to multi-task
• Accurate at following procedures
• Consistent at producing well presented food
• Motivated to clean and maintain a safe environment
• Flexible to work around the needs of the business

Key Responsibilities include:

The Student Voice Team Member will support the Student Voice Department in all aspects of delivering academic representation across the University, to ensure that all students are able to have their voice heard on academic issues and are supported to make positive changes to their teaching and learning experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

- support the planning and execution of Academic Representative Elections
- support the Representation and Governance Co-ordinator to plan and deliver Rep training
- assist the Student Voice Manager in the administration of the online course feedback platform, Coursemate, and the Students' Union online ideas hub, SUggestions
- support the Student Voice Co-ordinator to deliver successful School Action Days
